We all know that good things come to those who have patience. And for all of us waiting to enter the RFOX VALT metaverse, all the waiting is starting to pay off.
Last week the team alluded to several blockchain networks wanting to set up shop inside the VALT. However, it was up to them, not RFOX, to come forth with official announcements. Well, a pair of those messages are now out in the open for all communities to see.
One of them is well-established and is doing quite well for themselves within their corner of the blockchain. They will occupy one of the two SHOPs reserved for marquee brands in the VALT’s gaming quarter.
The other is still cutting its teeth but shares RFOX’s vision of using blockchain tech to build ventures. And both organizations have a proven history of being charitable with collected funds.
Let’s start with the more recognizable of the two, YGG.
Yield Guild Games is deeply entrenched in the play-to-earn space. They operate from Southeast Asia, RFOX’s target market, and offer scholarship funds to gamers looking to make gains from P2E.
This is a natural draw for KOGs: SLAM! from RFOX Games. Unlike Axie Infinity and its $500+ entry fee, earning crypto by slamming slammers in a digital remake of Pogs is free to enter.
It’s also a boon for the YGG ecosystem because of what RFOX can offer inside the VALT:
“YGG has made an investment of 200K USD via a token swap of YGG tokens for RFOX tokens. YGG has also acquired one of two Marquee Brand SHOPs in the RFOX VALT Gaming Quarter. Through this acquisition, YGG will have a SHOP that people can visit to interact with the community, collect NFTs, play games and much more, all in VR.”
Thousands of players in the YGG ecosystem want to play Axie but can’t afford to do so. They can play KOGs: SLAM! and earn an income as they sit on a long waitlist.
Those funds can allow gamers to buy their way into Axie much sooner than through YGG’s scholarship program. It’s a win-win all around!
Also taking up residency inside RFOX VALT is a collection of Gorilla NFTs from Harambe Protocol:
- A recent VALT article appearing on HackerNoon predicted a scenario that had the VALT integrated with the Sandbox Game, and Harambe NFTs are playable within both metaverses!
- Harambe Protocol passively funds gorilla conservation efforts and has donated nearly $10k to date
- 10,000 unique Hambians will feature RFOX-branded traits
It doesn’t take a hard look at Harambe Protocol’s website to see that they’re aligned with RFOX activities. For starters, the team launched its own token ($RIPH) and will venture into gaming, music, streaming, and more. Sound familiar?
