Went to visit a botanical garden last week. They showed us a couple of green houses, one where the collection had started in the 1920s, and the other where they plant baby cacti. Then they took us to the “wild area” and set us free to explore.
It was like a forest of cacti, succulents, and yucca trees with winding paths. We had read online that there were 4,400 kinds of cacti there. I had no way of counting, but it felt totally feasible.
