Bloody Sunday is a documentary drama that tells the events of January 30, 1972, in Derry, Northern Ireland. The real-life story saw a challenging march marred by the killing of 14 militant by the British army. This deadly incident also inspired the U2 song “Sunday Bloody Sunday.”
There are twenty-eight unarmed civilians that took part in the march, which was opposed to internment. Many of the innocent were shot down as they departed from the soldiers, while all others were shot as they were trying to help their friends who had already been damaged. That day there were thirteen people were dead. The 14th innocent died because of his injuries after four months. Two other protestors were viciously run down by army vehicles, while others were shot with rubber bullets.
