According to Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the aadhar data is secured. But the French expert proved this thing wrong. Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) Chairman R S Sharma on Saturday disclosed his Aadhaar number on twitter and challenged the Hackers to disclose his personal details.
After his tweet , the hacker having nickname Elliot Alderson leaked his personal details including phone number, PAN card details, Whats app picture and many more.
But the authorities denied and said these details can be easily available. UIDAI said that hackers had obtained this information by googling him him as he was a long-standing public servant .
In response to this, the hackers had leaked the Bank account details of the TRAI chairman R S Sharma and deposit Rs 1 into his bank account. The hackers had leaked 14 personal details of the chairman. Hackers also posted his demat account details, his payment history of last 3 years. They also advised chairman to change his Gmail password as it had been hacked. The UIDAI is working on this matter. We hope that they come up with strong answer.
