What is Gallbladder ?
One of the parts of our body is the gallstones, in which the bile is stored. Its position is beneath the liver towards the donation of our stomach. Its main task is to store the bile, thicken it, which helps us digest and absorb fat content.
What is Gallbladder stone?
Gallbladder stone is the most common disease. There are three types of stone.
- Cholesterol Stone
- Pigmented Stone
- Mixed Stone
cholesterol is insoluble in water, in order to increase the concentration of bile which is a substance that is emitted from phospholipid vesical canalicular membrane. This additional amount of cholesterol in the bile mixed with the rest coming from Gallbladder is like a grain. Many of the cholesterol crystals are deposited as rock Gallbladder together. When the stones are mixed with bilirubin in the blood then the rock became mixed stone.
Why is this stone?
- If more fat than fat diet
- If for any reason carcinoma in cystic duct
- If compression regarded Gallbladder secondary infections
Who are at the more stones?
- Women are generally up to 40 age.
- Fat women
- Those women who are giving birth to more children
- Gallbladder stone symptoms of elderly people
With symptoms of the patients usually come in the following-
- Abdominal pain right side at the top.
- Chest pain or chest can spread downwards.
- There may be pain in the right side of the chest.
- Some patients can not eat, eat nausea, and pain increases - especially fat diet.
- When walking or pain may increase at night.
- Many patients can sometimes be vomiting.
- Heart rate can be increased.
- Jaundice may be.
- Gallbladder stone, and it is a long time it inflamed the Gallbladder. Then by giving pressure of patient's chest the patient intense pain when pressure is taken off breath. It is called murphy’s sign positive.
However, in many cases the patient in the gallstones does not show any symptom at the beginning.
Examination investigation
Gallbladder stone cannot be confirmed in many cases due to symptoms. In that case the doctors asked to do the following tests -
- abdominal X-ray
- Ultrasonogram
- Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography
- Blood and Urine test
If a patient is admitted to a hospital with gallstones and stones, he is given the following treatment before the operation –
- Full rest
- Do not eat anything in the mouth
- Provide painkillers and antibiotics through saline.
- Regular blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
Then the patient was advised to undergo surgery. Gallbladderstone operation can be done in two ways.
- Gall stone operation in the abdomen cut. To whom Open Cholecystectomy
- Removal of Gall stone with the help of the machine. Which is called Laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
