Doing something increase ability . Our mind has power to think anything which can be exist or not. We don't have any idea that how much our mind can do for us. We believe most on other minds creation. 
We are follower and don't want to take work from our mind. Believe in yourself because your inner sole waiting for your order. Just give order to yourself to do creative for you.
When we do nothing we feel stress . When we are active in our feild then we don't have time for any stress . Your creativity makes you happy and help to forgate your wrong things. 
When we alone and there is no work then our mind work on past . It reminde you again and again your wrong thing which you do in past. Mind capture bad thing very fast and keep store for long time. It capture good thing also but difficult to remind you good think. When it works on good think then you feel as good as in past.
Creativity helps you to live in presant. Try to create something of yourself. It gives you peace of mind. It can be anything small or big. Don't stop doing creation. Your creation could be your day plan which you want to spend with your faimly or friends. 
Your little bit creation gives you lots of energy to do good things for you. Stop doing critise to others just do your best. Learn how to left your bad habits which takes lots of your energy. 
When we do good things we produce energy and when we do bad things we consume energy. Just produce more energy by doing creative things for next creation. This will bring positive change in your life .
