Bitcoin (BTC) is losing its value since early this year (2018) and for a brief period it improved a little (9,845.31 on 6th May), but again started losing its value and breached the psychological barrier of US$6,000 on 24th June. It touched $5,826.41 level and then has started gaining value at a snail's pace. Today it is again above $6,000
Many market pundits were predicting improvement in the Bitcoin's value from early June, but all the predictions have failed. It is proved that no one can predict the crypto market.
This bearish trend has also caused disappointment to many small investors and short-term holders. The values of all other altcoins have also dropped and market remains almost red most of the time. This bearish trend have made many bankrupt. The weak holders have started selling at loss.
There is a little hope for any improvement in the near future despite the fact many positive developments are expected in July. There were reports that Nasdaq plans to launch bitcoin futures as early as the second quarter of 2018, so market may react positively with the start of July. Finger crossed and wait.
