Hi @cstrimel, I am so happy to read your comments. I hope we can create a group here. It's just like a meeting place to meet new person and get paid for doing so. So many people working on getting more new people to join but no one made them to feel they belong here. I hope we can contribute not much but at least we are working to make the place better.
About going up level, I feel the same most of the time. Just watching my RP stucked at one level but as I ignore it, it just went up gradually. You'll get there soon, definitely!😊
Glad to hear that (about reputation). In regard to helping newbies feel like they belong, I’ve been trying to go out of my way every day to welcome at least one or two people. It’s the one time I will just leave a brief comment like “Great Post. Welcome!” because I figure any little encouragement can help at that point. Thanks again for doing this. I think engagement in comments is one of the most important aspects of steemit’s value, especially since it doesn’t allow direct messages and groups. In that way it’s more like who you go out of your way to talk to at work or in the neighborhood, but it takes effort. Cheers!
I feel the same way. I wish I have more time to focus on engaging newbies. I even sometimes feel it's due to language problem. So when I received a comment using an unknown language, I would just google translate it and then replied. About my achievements, I used to grumble when my SBD was only 0. And my posts were all 0.00. But then I thought again, what have I got to lose? I was not investing anything, just my time. So I continued and got to where I am now. Hahaha I love this place now.
