hey guys, today I'm going to tell you about what DEP is.
The Delayed Entry Program (DEP), also called the Delayed Enlistment Program is a program whereby individuals going into active duty in the United States Armed Forces enlist first in the DEP before they ship out to Basic Training, or "boot camp."
The longest you can stay in dep is one year, and you cant not get into any trouble with law enforcement and engage in illegal activities. if you decided that the military is not for you while in dep,you can back out at anytime.
while in dep you are encourage to spend time at their local recruitment office to train in military drill, fundamentals, first aid ,chain of command, and rank structure before leaving for basic training.
this is just a little about dep because the rest of it is just do's and dont's that would affect you status while in dep and heading to active duty.
thanks for your time guys, posting soon.
