8 slow and tricky steps to become a millionaire

in #millionaire7 years ago

Money, of course, is not everything. Not long-term. Where your definition of success is involved, the money stays back in the list. Every definition of success is different. Here is my:

"Success makes those who believe in you brilliant."

For me, money does not matter, but I have to admit they once had (perhaps because I did not have much). So let's say the money is on your list. Also - as millions of people around the world, everyone wants to be a millionaire. And what do you need to do to increase your chances of entering the millionaires club?

Here are my suggestions. They are neither quick nor easy. But they certainly work, unlike a quick and easy way.

  1. Do not let money conquer you

It may sound illogical, but we often focus (or rather deceive) on doing things that will really contribute to creating and retaining great wealth. So change your perspective.

"Look at money not as a primary goal, but as a follow-up product to do the right thing."

  1. Start tracking how many people you are helping, even with small gestures

The most successful people - both financially and in another aspect - are infinitely responsive. They are incredibly good at listening to others and helping them achieve their goals. They know that their success is based on the success of everyone else around them.

Therefore, successful people work hard to do the other: their employees, their clients, their suppliers and intermediaries ... because they know that if others can do that, their personal success will follow.

They will create a business or career to really be proud of.

  1. Stop thinking about how to make millions of dollars, start thinking how to serve millions of people

If you have only a few clients and your goal is to make a lot of money, you are forced to find a way to drain the last dollar from your customers.

But if you find a way to serve a million customers, many other benefits will follow. The mouth-to-mouth effect is simply great. The feedback you get is even more meaningful - that's how your capabilities improve your products and services. You will hire more employees and you will receive more benefits from their experience, qualities and overall activity.

And just in time, your business reaches a level you have not dreamed of - because your customers and employees bring you to a place you have not even imagined.

Serving a million people - and it's incredibly good, and money will come.

  1. Consider making money as a multifunctional activity

If we talk in general, there are two types of people.

Some do things because they want to make money; the more they do, the more money they will have. What they actually do is not of such significance to them - they will do so for as long as it takes when they are paid for it.

The other guy wants to make money because it allows them to do more. They want to develop their product. They want to expand their horizons. They want to create another book, song or movie. They love what they do and look at money as a means of doing more than what they love. These people dream of building a company to help the best things happen ... and making money is the way to move this dream and build the company they love.

While it is safe and possible to find the product that everyone wants and become rich in selling this product, most successful businesses evolve and develop - they make money, then reinvest them in continuous pursuit of excellence.

"We do not make movies to make money. We make money to make more movies. "- Walt Disney

  1. Be the best in a certain activity

Choose one thing that you're better than most people. Focus on the extreme in this thing. Train. Learn. Practice. Develop yourself. Improve yourself. Be ruthlessly critical of yourself. Not all the way, but to the point that you are sure you will continue to improve every aspect of this chosen activity.

Financially stable people do at least one thing better than everyone else around them. (Of course, this is true if you choose something that is valuable to the world - it will pay you later.)

Superiority is an achievement in itself, and it also implies higher pay - as well as more respect, a higher sense of satisfaction, a higher sense of achievement ... all this makes you rich from an intangible point of view.

Win-win.

  1. Make a list of the top 10 in this activity

How will you choose these 10? How will you distinguish who is the best? How will you measure their success?

Use these criteria to track your progress towards becoming the best.

If you are an author, your Amazon rank is indicative. If you're a musician, you can judge your iTunes downloads. If you are a developer, determining the number of people who use your software. If you are a leader - look at the number of people you train and develop, those who achieve greater and better results. If you're an online merchant, you'll see purchases from any visitor, timely delivery, or conversion rate ...

Do not be thrilled by successful people. Look closely at what exactly makes them like this. Then use these criteria as an assistant to create your own dimension for success. After that…

  1. Keep an eye on your progress

We tend to become as we want when we have success metrics, so keep track of your progress at least once a week according to your key metrics.

Maybe you will measure according to how many people you have helped. Or how many clients did you serve? You can also update your key activities as appropriate to become the best in what you do.

Perhaps it is a combination of all this and more.

  1. Create a routine that provides progress

Never forget that achieving the goals is based entirely on building a routine. Say you want to write a 200-page book - that's your goal. Your way of doing this can be, for example, writing 4 pages a day - that's routine.

Desire and hope will not help you complete the manuscript, but careful adherence to the routine will ensure you achieve the goal.

Or let's say you want to win 100 new customers through external marketing. This is your goal - your routine will be to create new content, new videos, a new podcast, new writings, and so on. Stick to this routine and adhere to deadlines, and if your content is great, you'll win these new customers.

Desire and hope will not take you there - strict adherence to routine will do so.

Set goals, create routines to help these goals, and make sure you keep track of your progress. Fix the things that do not work. Improve and repeat what goes well. Refine, review and adapt, work hard every day to be better than yesterday.

You will soon be good. Then you will be great. And one day you will be world class.

And then, perhaps even without feeling, you will become a millionaire. You understand me if you like the "things" of this variety.
