Most of the time. Gurdjeff once said that his secret of happiness was that "I don't mind what happens". In other words, he was non-reactive, and nonjudgmental about whatever was going on. He didn't keep a running scorecard of "good" vs. "bad". Of course we have basic human programming about what is not acceptable. Child slavery, child abuse, child sexual abuse, murder, theft, animal cruelty. There may be other things on your list. But, what is the most empowering stance we can take in life? To feel hopeless about ever eradicating evil? To feel forever angry and resentful about the amount of the above that does go on? Or to be in a state of concsiously chosen peace and balance with it all? We each make this choice day to day, moment by moment.
