RE: HOW IS IT POSSIBLE FOR STEEMIT'S FIRST MAKEUP TUTORIAL TO MAKE $33,870.16. I DON'T UNDERSTAND, SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN.

in #mindblown8 years ago

when it was brand new and only a few hundred users it would have been really easy to build voting influence etc. Now that there is 500 people or so a day joining and adding new content it will even out a bit, but there will always be those "big voters" kicking around

Sort:

$33,000 is the highest i've seen so far and Steemit is growing in new members everyday, based on what you're saying, shouldn't it be evening out by now?

it's still only 3 months old, with how the upvoting seems to work if we vote early and others agree with us and also vote up then our influence grows a bit (pays more) when the site has been running for a year and many people have built up their influence there will be many users who give decent paying votes. but the original members will always be "giants" lol unless they start voting against what the masses vote... then if I understand it correctly their influence will drop so their vote payouts might actually shrink in time

I don't really know what will happen if more people happen. My guess is a level playing field
