Yeeesh... I'm not so convinced. People are uglier on the inside than we usually want to think. Sure, people are kind and gentle on certain occasions, but they are also quite dark. We're selfish, ego-centric, and sometimes straight up assholes toward others for no fucking reason whatsoever. On the other hand, if we could see each others' souls, we would be compelled to change toward better, as to prevent people from leaving us.
