Hi, Steemians!
During our motivational blog posts from previous week, we highlighted the importance of willpower and how it shapes your life.
In this last part, we are going to introduce three new methods that can effectively increase your self-confidence and give you a boost of willpower.
Evidently, willpower is the cornerstone of all our efforts.
Eventually, this inner power determines our fate in this world…
Seventh Approach: Get Up Earlier Than Your Norm
As William Chatham once eloquently said:
‘I would have it inscribed on the curtains of your bed and the walls of your chamber: If you do not rise early you can make progress in nothing.’
Depending on how long it takes for you to get up when you wake up, we suggest you wake up an hour or half hour earlier to get ready for your day.
Use this time to relax or spend it on whatever you think gives you more energy.
For some people, it’s meditating, exercising or if you’re a workaholic, an early start to your work.
Eighth Approach: Make a To-do List of Your Goals
‘Most impossible goals can be met simply by breaking them down into bite size chunks, writing them down, believing them and going full speed ahead as if they were routine.’

So, you’re probably familiar with to-do lists. I have encouraged you many times to embrace the idea of writing things down.
But if you want to increase your willpower, you need to do it with your goals as well.
As we said, achieving small goals and victories on a daily basis are a crucial part of strengthening your willpower.
Make a to-do list of your goals and write down the progress you make with each one during the day.
This way, you can keep track of your strength and weaknesses to make yourself more competent.
Ninth Approach: Learn to Say No to People or Yourself!
Learning to say no to desires and temptation from inside and outside that derail you from the path to achieve your goal is one the most important steps in building your willpower.
When you feel yourself slipping on the slippery slope of finding some way to avoid fulfilling your task, you need to develop the strength to say no, to stay focused and go forward.
In order to achieve this strength, practice the idea of saying no to yourself and other people.
Say it out loud every now and then just to make sure you know how to say it!
It may seem stupid or pointless, but when you hear it, the word affects you.
It might make you think about it and your goal and the price of it all at the end of the day.
Think about the feeling of fulfillment and satisfaction you get when you achieve this milestone and learn how to say No, both to yourself and other people.

The three guidelines that you give in this publication are of great help for those moments where we need to raise our willpower The first, get up early, here in Venezuela is said "he who gets up early, God helps." Get up early, allows to advance so many things necessary to raise our level of efficiency. Followed, keep a list of pending objectives, is necessary to evaluate our achievements, identifying our strengths and weaknesses according to our ability to execute. Finally, to maintain a criterion of compliance with the objectives set, so we should not deviate from the path towards achieving the goalsGreat post.
It can be hard to stick with those methods all the time, but it is worth it. Saying no can be painful, but it will increase your self-esteem.

Having read your post, I would say that the biggest challenge to our willpower is learning to say no to ourselves.
I can say no to someone else without thinking about it. But, when it comes to one's self, we find it so hard to resist our weaknesses and temptations.
Believe me, I know. But ultimately, I when I think about the consequences of my weakness, then I am motivated to resist the urge to indulge myself.

I was reading one of my mentor’s book when I found this nice article which is very inspiring , I believe it would help in changing your mindset I have my own testimonies of what happen to me when I start applying what is in this article .
Changing your negative vocabulary will lead you to success (here are some word you have to change)
Sometimes I can't go on coz there are some reasons that ruined my day and some people who are with me must help me to go on coz we can't afford to just not being able to do and go on with my work. You have a nice blog here and I will resteem it for my friends.
I think the problem with a weak will emanates from the subconscious fear of failure. If one hopes to acquire a powerful will then they must do, I believe, two things.
The first is to establish what their will actually is. Too many of us don't look deep enough inside to discover what it is that we actually want for ourselves, and so what we will for ourselves or the world is constantly changing, making it impossible for us to ever realise it.
Once we know what it is that we are truly aiming for, the second step is simply to acquire the self-belief that it is attainable.
When we have both of these things - clarity of direction and belief in our ability to get there, working towards that end becomes far less of a struggle.
