Regards @chbartist for this great post. People tend to dominate their colleagues at workplace, school or a social gathering. I think this has to do with background. At homes, some children from start are being fed continously with that control mindset; such as that they need to dominate, control any situation they found themselves in, especially in the midst of their colleagues and so they grow up, thinking that this is the best way to live. They should just try to limit it and understand that too much control of situations can lead to someone becoming too domineering and in turn, it affects relationship drastically.
