Growing up, I liked to think that I could think logically. Then I taught myself how to code. Holy cow. A different type of logic, sure, but debugging code forces you to think in a set pattern. That pattern seems good for deconstructing arguments and identifying disconnects.

The second thing that happened is that I was told by a co-worker that 'they pay us to pay attention'. Attention to detail is massively important. That, combined with thinking in a structure manner, has gotten me to really think about a lot these days.

It's almost like I am reworking out the universal truths again. Minds are strange....
