My belief as a Christian tells me that Faith is believing in the things that have not yet happened or come to pass yet, as though they are already a reality.
Believing in yourself or something that it can be or turn out the way you want it is the "Faith" we need to achieve anything.
Without it, I doubt we as individuals can achieve anything.
True life example: In 2001, I registered for a professional exam in computer networking called Cisco Certified Networking Associate ( CCNA).
My registration was made with less than three months to the exam date. My head faculty advised me not to sit for the examination because I had little time to prepare for it. I needed at least six months to be fully ready. He said he did not want me to tanish the institution's record of 100% pass rate for their students. And besides, I should not waste my money as the exam was very expensive to take back then.
I told my head faculty point blank that I have never taken any examination more than once in my entire life without me getting what I wanted. This professional exam wasn't going to be different. I am going to pass it.
With that mindset, I went ahead to prepare and to sit for the Cisco professional exam. And I nailed it at my first attempt.
I passed with flying colors!!!!!
Bottom line, Believe in yourself or something. That is FAITH.
Cheers
