Doing #healing work on yourself, or with a therapist, is rather demanding.
In the same way that a tough workout in the gym leaves you drained and fatigued, you will find similar experiences after a #therapy session.
Here's are 3 tips to help you better navigate the #posttherapy blues.
Tip 1 : Drink lots of water. When we do this kind of work we can actually release toxins that have been stored in the fascia. This will put a toxic load on the body and drinking lots of water helps to process and remove these.
Tip 2 : Take some time off! Most people don't know this but the real muscle #growth occurs not while you are working out ... but when you are resting! If you are constantly working and never giving yourself time to rest you will NEVER see the results you are looking for. #burnout
Tip 3 : Be in nature! This study (https://lnkd.in/dwQNJqN3) done in 2018 found a SIGNIFICANT correlation between walking in forested areas and a decrease in anxiety and depressive symptoms. Go outside yall!
