I think this is definitely an under-thought initiative. It's hard to find the time for self growth because we are busy grinding away in a system that brainwashed into thinking you always have to grind to be successful. If anything- I would say it's the opposite. Take the time to understand yourself, and run self experiences to find what your biases are- and most importantly, what are your unhealthy defense mechanisms. For example- I have recently learned how my self sabotage behavior and cycles stem from a past in my early child hood when my mother was depressed and unable to give me what I needed emotionally. I then built up a defense mechanism of unworthiness and that has manifested in so many large areas of my life. I would never have understood this if I didn't take the time to read books and be honest and vulnerable with myself. Cheers
