We all need people to look up to.
Meh...@chbartist this time we'll have to agree to disagree. When I think of human heroes, I'm left either sad, and/or disappointed. The problem with putting any 'heroic' labels on human beings is that they always come up short. I'm not into fantasy heroes...aka Superman, etc...As I think about it, people who I thought were my life heroes either died or disappeared on some level. So, for such reasons, I chose Jesus as my only HERO decades ago; and, He has been worthy of the same every step of the way.
People simply can't be there for you come thick or thin...mere mortals (self included) simply can't be heroes worthy of the accolade.
