Back together (Minimalist Drawing Contest)

I drew this after my cat had been missing for 4 days.
Of course -like cats always do- he came back like nothing had happened.
His younger sister had done exactly the same; Let us calling for hours in every street of our neighbourhood. Let us printing 40 copies of a MISSING flyer on the third evening. Yes 40. You are a cat lady, or you're not. Then the next day she came back, just like her brother. Demanding for food, demanding for attention and fall asleep for the usual 16 hours.

One year later, when their elder sister disappeared too, for one ... two ... three ... four days, we did nothing. We were not too worried and waited patiently. We thought it was a family thing. Her bro&sis must have told her about their adventures and convinced her that we, their parents, were absolutely not getting mad after returning. On the contrary!

It has been 3 years now ... she didn't come back.
