EVGA GTX 1060 3 GB SC
This is a mining review of some of the popular coins that can be mined with the Nvidia GTX 1060 from Evga.
Lets jump right in and take a look at Decred with about 1700 MH/s this card more than doubles the speed of the old ASUS GTX 950
Lbry did pretty well on this card running at around 174 MH/s
Zcash mining is impressive on this card running at about 285 Sol/s
Zcoin is an interesting one with some nice performance compared to older cards at about 960 KH/s more than twice as fast as the old GTX 950
Bitcore pulls a nice 11 MH/s with lots of heat and power usage
Musiccoin performs nicely on this card getting around 22 Mh/s with a slight memory overclock
Finally we get to Ethereum and the results are similar to Musiccoin with 22 Mh/s with the same memory overclock
Really nice review, clean and simple. I'm thinking about a small rig with 4x 1070s or 1080s (probably don't have the money for these right now, though ;), any chance you gonna review these? Would be fantastic if you could provide actual power usage of the card on different algos.
PS: Love my R9s, they are very versatile, giving around 340 Sol/s on ZCash but 31 MH/s on ETH, with some good undervolting and overclocking.
Also, are your numbers based on a stock 1060 or did you already tweak it?
Stock 1060 3 GB speeds unless mentioned in the post as with ETH and Music
I am thinking about a 1080 ti for the sake of density but I am waiting for now
New Nvidia P106-100 based on 1060. Similar performance and power usage with GTX-1060:

Yeah but no resell value. I am not much of a fan of these.
Been looking at this card but wasn't sure if I should get any since its just a single fan card but from your review it looks pretty good. Thanks for the post
I have had good luck with them and if you are worried about the single fan you can always run external pc fans behind them.
Price?
You can find them for between $170 to $220 U.S. Dollars
Cool. That's pretty good hash rate for a gpu :)
I think so, and the power usage is relatively low and can be tweaked to make it even more energy efficient.
That's even cooler..
