AMDs Mining Graphic Card
It is no surprise that a recent shortage of graphics cards has come up. With everyone trying to mine and get the hardware to do so pretty much every graphics card is sold out on on back order. This has prompted the first ever graphics cards whos sole purpose is for mining. In a post before this I went over Nvidias Mining Graphics Card. In this one I will go over AMDs ASUS version called MINING-RX470-4G.

The big features of a card like this over a non MINING card is the Dual-Ball Bearing Fans which reduce friction and allow for a longer lifespan of the card. These cards are also better built to run 24/7 unlike other graphics cards not rated for this type of usage.
The fans are also rated IP5X for dust which will repel more dust allowing for better running graphics cards and less maintenance to keep them clean and running efficient.
ETA on release of this card and price is still pure speculation but ill be watching for it as I am sure the rest of the world will be as well.

I currently work in Supply Chain at AMD. Let me tell you, it's gonna be a while. Ellesmere is far behind even current forecasts let alone new products. 6+months away.
Thank you for letting us know, I knew it was all speculation for right now but to actually build and ship these will take some time plus getting the chips etc. I'm very curious if they are going to start bumping up more plants to try and push more product. If anything having stock options must be a nice bonus ;)
Literally just got stock options awarded 2 weeks ago, so yeah literally nice bonus. I'll keep the community aware.
Awesome! but its not going to stop the crazy prices on the second hand market!
Nope it sure wont lol it will at least help produce more hashing power and reduce electric costs however we start to run into the massive stock piling and where your average person hashing with one card can't really do much of anything like what happened to bitcoin and asic
