The plot below shows the total Hypernode collateral, both active and inactive, during the last 60 days. As can be seen, the total amount of collateral is 8,410,000 during this period. The total amount of BIS in circulation is 29,88 million. Hence, the amount of active collateral accounts for 22.3% of the total supply, or 28.1% if the amount of inactive collateral is included.

An open source GPU CUDA miner was finally released, see https://github.com/Bismuthfoundation/kbkminer This miner was originally written in 2017 for Ubuntu 16.04. During the last 6 weeks this miner was updated, the source code cleaned up, released to the public domain and made to work on Ubuntu 20.04 (server edition) with updated Nvidia CUDA drivers. Having an open source GPU miner is important for decentralization and redundancy of the Bismuth project. The new kbkminer makes use of https://github.com/bismuthfoundation/Optipoolware which means that anyone can now easily start a new pool and offer this service for the Bismuth project, or just solo mine privately.
