RE: CryptoTab - Google Chrome can earn you BTC now!

in #mining7 years ago

Couple of questions if you can answer,

  1. Is it safe, I mean am I risking my computer to a virus or phishing attack ?
  2. Will it damage my hardware ?
  3. Does it have any lockdown period. Like can't withdraw for x days, or minimum withdraw limit is x bitcoin etc.
I have read about many scams. This might be legitimate, not sure. Just wanted to check if you have done some research already.

WOW, you could do some basic research about it right in the Google Chrome Store, it should tell you a lot...
Do you think Google would accept CryptoTab if there were any doubts about any virus or phishing attack?
This is exactly why the CryptoTab is growing that fast, people are not afraid to download it from the official Google Chrome store. They know the app must be safe.

There are other free miners, like for example Computta(btw, I like Computta too) but to download Computta Smart Miner takes more effort, it is not as instantaneous as to add a Chrome extension, and in addition, there are often conflicts with one's malware and virus protection programs...

As to your second question, no clue how an app can damage any hardware...

And your third question is a different variation of the first one ;-)

Sorry, I completely missed the first part of your third question, just so the last one LOL

As to withdraws, please double check again CryptoTab recent payments list:
https://getcryptotab.com/en/journal/
and of course, there are not any lockdown periods.

The info about withdraws is right in the info about the app in Google Store:

You can send your Bitcoins from CryptoTab to your wallet any time, just press Withdraw BTC button and fill out your wallet address. Remember that Bitcoin system has a 0.0004 BTC transaction commission, so you need to have at least this amount for withdrawal.

Sounds good. Thanks for the detailed response. I will take a look and signup soon.

Yes, this is the thing I like there least, one can't have a clue who is signing up and who is not.

I agree, I like knowing who my signups are and where they are from.

I guess with CryptoTab we will have to live without, but... those 10 levels kind of make it up for it. They have added those extra levels to assure as fast growth of the pool as possible and to attract to CryptoTab not only free Satoshi hunters but also affiliate marketers. I think that was a smart move, they are growing fast :-)
