Thanks. If I'm being real, it's not there yet. The S3 w/gH is just way too low to be profitable doing anything if you have to pay for electric. Right now it seems like I'm going to average 1 LCC per 36 hours, so it's actually less profitable than BTC at the moment. But I consider my best speculative play at the moment and it will have been worth if it goes anywhere over $4.
Congratulations on beginning your mining adventure! I use a program called Awesome miner on my PC when I'm not doing anything on it. It has algorithms to switch to the most profitable mining at any point in time.
I think most mining pools also do a similar thing. So you get max profit that can be auto sold for something you want. Miningpoolhub is the one I use.
I don't know, unless you are sure LCC is going to the moon. Mine is just mining tiny bits and pieces of many things and then I just convert to LTC and get it straight onto an exchange.
Miningpoolhub handles all the pain in the arse bits like wallets to handle all the dust from the mining.
Cool, maybe I'll make that my failover pool. I have no idea if LCC will moon or not. I think it has the best potential though based on the current pool difficulty and ability to mine the SHA256 hash. Ideally you want a coin you can long that hasn't had it's moment to shine yet, I'm pretty bearish on BTCs long term prospects.
Dude, this is fate....you would not believe but I went on this same journey last Summer. My miner collection now includes: 4 x Antminer S1's overclocked to 200 gh/s , an Antminer S2 at 1th/s, and two Antminer S5's running at 1.3 th/s - when Bitcoin was riding high before Christmas my earnings from them did well - at the moment it doesn't really cover the electricity cost - but I have the bonus they are keeping the house warm and it has been freezing in the UK so far this year! Not sure what I will do when it get's warmer unless the value of Bitcoin climbs dramatically again. Fun though - and as you mention I am keeping an eye on the LTC cash fork - it could be the opportunity to do better out of them. I did also spend a period when I got one of the pools I was mining with to pay out to a blocktrades address which gave me direct Steem from the Mining - which was very handy to help me grow a bit more on here. Tunes are spot on again mate, loving that DJ Integrity No time like the present. Stay Awesome.

Congrats on becoming a miner, how's the profitability so far for lcc?

See ya on the moon brotha!
Perfect GIF, most of these moon attempts are going to end in fail...

Thanks for the heads up, I'll check that out once I see how LCC plays out. Right now nothing else has a chance to be profitable with this rig.
