I couldn't get it to work. The mining guides are outdated, the blockchain wouldn't sync. Besides, ETC is significantly more profitable right now.
I would definitely mine Steem if i could, though.

I didn't keep good track. I just rented every rig I could from MRR and mined as much as I could. I didn't make anywhere near as much as an ETH holder did, but I made a couple hundred off of a small initial investment of like 10 - 20 dollars. lol
Yes - we hope to see some updated mining guides soon.
