I tried to mine Burstcoin

I thought I'd give it a go with Burstcoin mining, so I bought this sucker and made a 1.7TB plot.

After hours and various videos to understand how the whole damn thing works, I proceeded.
It took a couple of days to download the blockchain and a couple of days to plot the drive.
Burst faucets were all tapped out, so I bought some from Poloniex. I had to make a tranaction with my Burst wallet. Then send a Burst to the mining pool. Not content, they changed the login (or whatever) so i had to send another Burst to them. Each trasaction costs 1 Burst.
Finally I got it mining and after a couple of days I managed to mine 0.2 Burst.
So (IMHO) it just ain't worth it.

Now that I have this storage device, I might try with Storj.

I read something about Storj on a steemit post, I don't remember if it was you or someone else. Anyway, now that I got this storage device I might as well try it out.

its very profitable i you have a petabyte because then you are the only one in burst who can mine a single block

burst e' una moneta di m....

Si lo so, ma bisogna provare le cose per sapere.

Well, at the moment it is not that profitable to mine BURST because of the very high network difficulty and low price on exchanges.

When you want to join the BURST party, you need to have a positive attitude for the price trend.
I myself believe that the price will go up to 600-800 sat again.

So you would either mine some BURST and save them for later or buy them directly on Polo or Bittrex.

Thanks for the warning.
