The Best Graphics Cards to Buy Right Now?!?
There are so many different graphics cards on the market right now, but because of the large boom in interest in cryptomining, GPU prices have been through the roof for many top picked cards.
Some of the most well-known, top picked cards are up as much as 149% from their msrp in some cases!
This massive, sudden price jump has raised a lot of questions for the marketplace. When can we expect to see these prices return to normal? Should I buy graphics cards now? Can I still make a profit gpu mining at these prices?
Given the current state of the market, believe it or not, there are still quite a few good picks for cryptominers out there looking to turn a profit when it comes to mining. Although the future state of the marketplace can't ever be guaranteed, seeing that this is most likely the lowest it'll get, we can assume that if we can turn a profit now, then we can most certainly continue turning a profit when it recovers.
But now we have to ask ourselves
what graphic cards are the best to buy right now??
Many of the most commonly used mining cards are either out of stock or way to over priced to turn a profit currently. This means that we should probably begin looking to other, less common cards for better Return On Investment (ROI) times. Below is a list compiled that gives the best graphics cards sorted by lowest ROI.
So I should just get a bunch of HD 7950s then right?
Well not so fast. It seems obvious that the older cards have a much better current ROI than the newer cards, but while the current ROI time for cards such as the HD 7950 is only 2.76 months (83 days), these earnings might not be the same 6 months from now or even 1 month from now. Since these cards are older, their earnings generally reduce faster than newer cards since they are easily outmatched by better hashing cards. Additionally, newer cards will hold a better resale value than older cards. This, along with the fact that they run hotter and use more electricity than newer cards makes them less than ideal. That's the reason newer cards are in such high demand at the moment for miners.
Not only this, but with Nvidia announcing they will be announcing a new line of gpus in the next few months, this makes the earnings of these older cards even more volatile. The gtx 960, for example, could be making $41 all the way up until the release of the new line and then suddenly drop to a dismal $25.
However, does that make it unprofitable?
Believe it or not, No!
Given the release of the new series of Nvidia graphics cards wont be for at least another month or 2, someone could very easily build a rig of HD 7950s or other cheap cards and reach almost a complete ROI before the cards get released to the general public. That means that any money made after that would be pure profit anyway!
Now, depending on who you ask, some people might suggest it would be better to buy coins straight up right now because of the large dips we've seen in the crypto market than to build a mining rig, and they most certainly aren't wrong.
However, to say building a new mining rig isn't profitable isn't true either. Even though the market for graphics cards has skyrocketed in the last few weeks due to the ever increasing profitability of cryptomining, there is still plenty of money to be made right now.

Good read, followed!
Thank you that means a lot!
Why don't you prefer minting :- https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@jeevanjot/minting-is-more-profitable-usd-then-mining-find-out-how
Well to be honest, what that article is promoting a scam. The first link is a link about how MINING mints coins and doesn't even mention the lending process recommended. The process mentioned is bitconnect, do some research (on youtube even) on them and you'll find that is a complete scam and ponzi scheme.
Thanks for the feedback but again, the only way to MINT bitcoin or other currencies is through mining it. Now, there are coins that you can "stake" and earn income off of by simply owning them. I was actually going to make an article soon about that! Those coins use the process Proof of Stake (PoS) as apposed to mining in order to confirm transactions.
Thanks for the comment it means a lot!
Good job!
Hope, this will help me when buying a new graphics card.
