Hey there, @bulleth here with the latest update on MinnowBooster paramaters.
As you have probably noticed, voting power on the bot has been steadily declining and is now around 60%. As such, we are changing the $7 per week limit back to $5 per week. This will hopefully allow the voting power to start recharging naturally again.
Also as the voting power is so low, we are having to raise the minimum send to $1 SBD. This is because if the voting power declines any further, 0.5 SBD votes will become unprofitable. Hopefully this change is only temporary and we will keep you updated. In case this change temporarily prices you out of using the service, we recommend using the @discordia voting bot which has a low minimum of just 0.10 SBD.
Now for the good news, as well as the above changes, we are also upping the maximum daily send to $5. This is once again a matter of profitability, instead of spreading your five $1 SBD upvotes out over the week, you can put them all on one post if you wish. This means you should still be able to turn a nice profit, even at the current low voting power.
Now for the DLM, we recently halved the market rate on SP leases and the market was swamped with unprecedented demand. This was great for the people who got in early, but eventually our delegators simply ran out of SP to spare at the current promotion rate. There are currently more than 50 orders sitting in the market unfilled. We are working on variable pricing and this should be available very soon, but in the mean time, we will be raising prices to offset demand and incentivise delegation. Until variable pricing is introduced, the rates for leasing SP will be as follows:
- 150 SP for 4 Weeks will cost 4 STEEM
- 75 SP for 1-3 weeks will cost 1 STEEM (per week)
With this change, we are aiming for the middle ground between our original price structure (not enough demand) and the promtional pricing structure (too much demand). Leasing SP for curation should still be profitable at these new prices.

Hello, my 4 weeks lease of delegated SP was supposed to be expired on Aug. 26 because it started last July 26. Today, Aug. 22, it has been cut off/expired 4 days too early! Why? Can you please restore or refund for the remaining 4 days?
last week, I spent 200 STEEM to borrow 10K SP for FOUR weeks.. now the price has gone up to 266.67 STEEM... so my question is: can I lease these 10K STEEM (delegated) back so that I can earn 66.67 difference?

@justyy and @incrediblesnow Sorry you can't lease out your delegated steem because of obvious reasons but you can lease out your non delegated steem Power if only is above the minimum of 75 SP and above. no u just dont have enough steempower! u do earn when u upvote too! Its just fractions of a penny so u dont notice it but u can click on rewards Author rewards and Curation Rewards to see how much u make from curation, u get a cut of all the posts most u upvote, if u upvote early or with a lot of steempower u end up with the bigger cut of the curation money!
I am glad to hear the daily limit is gone. One concern I have with leasing is that some people might use it purely for selfvoting, which would abolish the intention of it. Still a proud user of your services though! :) (still my fav. of them all!)
I was kidding. They are doing an awesome job and self-voting is not illegal. That's the beauty of STEEMIT that allows anyone to earn with the least effort involved. This has not done before and that;s what makes STEEMIT a social media of future. Proud to be part of this community.
No, self voting is not illegal. However, if everyone were to self-vote there be no Steemit. And I think especially with leasing, that it would destroy the intentions they have when people would use it solely for self voting.

Sometimes there are some problems with steem, but the bot remembers and will catch up :) Best to wait 1-2 hours and then come to discord. We will refund you manually if things went really wrong

And i have a question about renting Steempower. I rented steempower once and couldnt even make enough self voting to pay for it! maybe I didn't use up all my power but it was difficult to get a good ROI back, maybe I wasnt timing it right

In my opinion SP is worth it for the social element. People notice your vote, they notice you and get in touch with you. If you can earn your investment back and how, that is something I don't know.

yes i always use my upvotes to gain fans because if i like a post on trending by a whale or dolphin or even minnow, ill upvote everyone inthe post, so very comment will get a fw cents uipvote by me, and thyll ALL notice the upvotes all by the same guy, and it REALY Works especially when you then announce it with a screenshot and say "I upvoted everyone here!"
and yeah its realy fun to imagine the ADVERTISINg value of stempower in teh future when we have AL the yeeballs wen we have millions or hundreds of millions of users like reddits 240 million users, we can show brands that they can buy steempower to promote their OWN posts by self votying them to the top of trending! And because theyl have to buy steempower to do this (and to silence critics of theior brand) the price of steem will gp up[!
Now we should probobly get peopel ready for this and try to get people to hold back on any ort of criticism of flagging of big corporate brands, we want big brands and big companoies to feel safe buying steempower and know that we will accept them as part of the steemit commiunity if they self votetheir own posts OR USE the promoted feature BUT i fel the ide aof just self voting yourpoststo the front page will be a VERY powerful and cost effective tool to get EYEBALLS and if we convince big brands to drop a few grand or a few hundred grand on steempower as a long trm investment they an use to self vote thgeir posts to the front page of trending, then we can get a lot of potential adevrtyiosers to buy up A LOT of steempower!!
OR WE CAN EVEN sell posts from the Steemit Account @steemit which has a lot fo steempower, and we can offer a service where we Upvote your post if you rent the delegated steempower from a whale account OR we just offer the ablity to send a post to the front page y buying an upvote from a powerful whale account! that way the brand advertisers wont need to buy steempower themsevs, we can just let them pay in Bitcoin or Steem to have a whale account (maybe a special AdBot account or something named AdBot or SteemitAds or something, and u can send it SBD and it will automatica;y upvote your post to the top....anyay i should make a post aboutthis to prove to people ho we wont ever need seperate ads and tyhat the ads will be within steemit themselves OR whales can SELL SPACE ion their own pots at the bottom!
