Blogging is a Habit!

in #minnows7 years ago

Hello Steemians,

I know much of you guys running behind yourself and making yourself, I mean "Forcing" yourself to deliver a post every day. If you are the regular blogger here and not missing a single day of steemit blogging then hats off to you it's pretty hard to keep yourself writing and focused in down days. Especially when you are a newly born minnow here, you just give a couple of blogs and then just quit. I know there are hundreds of reasons on which you can evaluate and fit your situation and call it the last day on Steemit. Blogging is a habit! it takes time to develop good habits and after all, steemit is something which is going to be there in your pocket at the end. You can trade your bad habits for this blogging habit but you have to go through some tough or boring activities which seems useless at first but be sure - this thing will going to build you and building something requires a lot of patience and dedication!

It takes 15 minutes!

  • If you think that blogging on steemit is something "pro-work" then you are a bit unknown to the magic of steemit. You do not have to be any celebrity or like great personalities or the one with popularity to grab anyone's attention.
  • Writing a blog requires 15 minutes only but only if you have a good typing speed with a complete plan of what you are going to post else it will take more minutes but believe me not hours!
  • You might be doing timepass or doing something weird and unnecessary, why not you put that time here, at least it will give you rewards and a group of weirdos whose company will boost you and your works every time!
  • If I evaluate then the amount of time that is wasted by me in a day is enough to write at least 2-3 good posts but I am still pegged at 1 post a day, similar to SBD, lol!

Forcing is good!

  • Yeah, if you are forcing yourself to deliver at least 1 post a day then you are going in right direction, forcing works but until you develop blogging as a habit.
  • But if you have to force yourself to blog even after developing it as a habit then believe me there is something wrong on your side, in your thoughts. Try to calm yourself, your thoughts and see what things are going to benefit you!
  • Don't forget to take a week off, its hard to write every day, "GOOD CONTENT", rushing will end up everything in spam. Now it's sad if you force hard, work hard and people say that you are spamming. So take a week off! Remember you are not in any race to set up new Guinness world record!
  • Just for your info, we have few people on steemit who are posting 400+ blogs a day, anything left for me to say on this!

Think before you post

  • If you are on the desktop and about to write something and thinking at the same time believe me it works in rare cases, you will either end up wasting electricity or killing off your mood.
  • Make a small blueprint or at least boundaries for your upcoming posts. And think before you write. I have tried thinking and blogging at the same time and I end up in the mid so I just cleared myself and think WELL before I write.
  • No idea? Don't find your idea on steemit if you are absolutely new here, we have cheetah bot who is smart as well as nonsense enough to hit you and kill your motivation. Stay away from cheetah and plagiarism. No offence!
  • Follow outer steemit blogging and bring great contents to this community this will keep repetition limited to some extent. I think that's all you need to know and I will keep you guys updated!

If you made till this blog now! shoo... go away, I need rest!

Think the big thing is knowing our focus. My blogs, just like my life, are often chaotic. I can't pinhole very well. Hard to write even a blog a week. Good tips.

Good post
