Steemit is so much more than that @papa-pepper. Yes, you can earn money, but you also gain friendships with folks from all over the world. You learn from the experiences of others, share laughter and tears whether they be for joy or sorrow. Remember, you only get out of it what you invest in it, be it time, money, creativity or friendship.

Amen to that! There is so much more that we can reap from our investment here! I don't downplay that for a second, although the focus of this post was elsewhere!
