Why Strippers Always Lose Money (And Its Sad)

in #minnowsunited8 years ago

Why do strippers always lose money even when they make large amounts of money in a week?

"The problem is, many of these women are uneducated (even though they claim they are going to college), low class, and have little to no experience managing money. They think the gravy train will last forever. MANY prostitute on the side and have MAJOR drug habits/issues. I used to bounce at a strip club in Chicago. These women have more issues than Time magazine. It's true that they would make tons of money. However, it would be gone in a few days. They would buy clothes, cars, drugs, etc. A woman would work all weekend and by the next weekend, she'd be broke. One girl made $5,000 in one weekend and was asking me for $10 the next Friday. Stupid ho's are a dime a dozen.

Don't get me started on their boyfriends/pimps. These guys would roll in and treat them like ATM machines. Of course, these idiots were too stupid to see that they were being used by these guys. All the while, they would bitch about respect and they just "wanted people to respect them." They didn't even respect themselves.

After their bodies start to deteriorate from all the abuse they put it through, they become one of the "old strippers." These women are in their early 40's but look like they are 50/60. It's sad to seem them wandering the floor begging for money. They will give hand jobs and blow jobs for $5 or $10. They preach to the young ones to save but see my comments above.

All in all, it is a sad sight. Most guys are too horny, drunk, dumb, ignorant, etc to see what the reality is. However, when you had to deal with these women night after night, you actually start to feel sorry for them. I'm glad I got out of that job but man, was it eye opening." - Dan, a former bouncer

I've never been turned on by them. I've always known they had mental issues, family problems, been molested or a combination of all 3. I too feel bad for them that they can't see they are being used, but they've convinced themselves that they are in-fact empowering themselves by doing this. Pathetic.
(Oh, and I'm in Las Vegas too)

IMHO, More men should think like you so this industry becomes unattractive to naive, young women looking for a quick buck.

You speak truth. I've seen the same thing myself.

congratulations on willpower

That is an extreme example, but most uneducated (or shallow; reckless) people will act that way in some degree. Even myself, when I was getting my Ph.D. treated money badly.
If you treat a dime like garbage, nothing will stop you from treating a grand the same way!

That is a very good observation, sir.
