It is in our tradition that after some months, usually two, of compulsory rest-at-home, the mother and her baby will attend church for the dedication of the new-born. That is what happened to my baby girl last Sunday.
Happily we went and General Assembly, the Church of the First Born was electrified. It was indeed a happy moment for me and all well-meaning colleagues and friends.
In attendants were the Director of E-Barcley, Pst. Kingslay Onuorah, the son of Fmr Min. of Information, Envangelist Joshua Gana, the resident Pst. Bishop David Won and many others.
This is the Rector of JC Best International Schools, Pst. Edna Onuorah, carrying my colleague's son who happened to come for dedication as we did. Rector is a woman of substance. Her motherly advice is second to none. She is a woman you cannot regret meeting.
This is my lovely wife, myself and my brother standing before the congregation to receive God's blessing.
Eveng. Joshua Gana praying for my baby, Miracle Adaeze. It was a moment of joy as blessing was showered on baby Miracle.
Pst Onuorah also prayed for the babies who were presented to God and were attending church service for the first time.
The Resident pastor, Bishop David Won, annoints the babies and prays for them.

Pastor reprimands parents who do not bring their children to mid-week service. It was a serious scolding directing to all members of the church.
In all I thank God that baby Miracle has turned two months and two weeks.
