RE: Welcoming Contest Round #2 - The Missing Links[$50 in Prizes]

  1. Minnows don't earn the same as whales, because your earning power is based on your SP, and the relationships you build. They have spent a long time building up steempower and building relationships. You can also grow, if you have patience. Many people who are big whales now, were using the site faithfully when Steem was only worth 10 cents. They waited, and worked, and didn't complain all of the time why they weren't getting paid.
  2. The highest reputation I have seen is 75.
  3. If you don't like to use other sites, then don't use them, part of the beauty of the blockchain, is that Steemit is only one applicaion built into it, and many other uses can be made for it. Steemit is BETA. That means we are not fully formed. nothing works perfectly. Still it is in progress, and people are also learning and growing, some people even earn a living here, having invested nothing but time.
  4. You get a voting slider after 500sp. In the mean time, the lower your voting power gets, the smaller your votes are, and you actually get more of them. It's almost impossible to run out. so, vote and be happy :)
  5. Most of the people who are really successful here, have been here for a long time, and continued to work and grow, despite low earnings. Some invested to the platform, and got power that way. I've been here only a few months, and I grew from nothing, to where I am now. If you make friends, and keep working, you could also follow in that path.
  6. Curation rewards are a portion of the vote going back to the voter, this encourages people to vote on content, so they can also get rewarded, by rewarding others.
  7. You get vests are another word for steem power. You get them by posting, and commenting.
8-10. Steemit is beta, as in, being developed, and we are getting an opportunity to test it out. Be grateful

11 . The blockchain can not tell the difference between a bot and a human, and the bots often perform useful tasks.

  1. Nothing in life is fair (didn't your mom tell you that?)

  2. Steemit is confusing because it's cutting edge technology, not for the faint of spirit.

  3. There are as many ways to Grow on Steemit as there are people. Try this guide I wrote:

I didn't really want to respond to this comment, because it's a bunch of whining and complaining. But I did. I'm not getting paid to do this. I just did it to be nice. but now I'm pretty irritated. I'm not going to "check out your article" because you've been here for 4 dfays, and all you want to do is complain, instead of learn how to use the site, like everyone else who is now successful did.
