I dig it. When I joined Steemit I posted jokes and quotes, short-form content that I could produce quickly and that I found meaningful. Then I discovered the many contests around Steemit, and then I started a contest of my own.
I don't really produce much now except the contest. It's more about giving back, giving others an opportunity to share their creativity, and giving me an opportunity (excuse?) to connect with people. And though I post less, those posts bring more SBD and SP.
I hear a lot of users talk about discord and minnow support, I'd do that and so many other things BUT I have a lot of non-Steemit commitments -- 2 kids, day job, side business, social life, etc -- so I only have so much time to give to this platform.
PS I guess if I mention my contest, I should share the link, too. Here: https://steemit.com/contest/@vdux/vdux-contest-3-win-2-sbd-upvotes-and-more-for-writing-17-syllables-about
