I thought good content got upvotes from whales.
All I see is that any content can get good amount of votes and SBD's
Unfair advantage to many.
Why should one join a channel to boost his/her post OR pay to RandoWhale and things like that.
Why isnt it fair and square for all.
To make more dollars here one should know the right people, join the right channels.
BUT HEY "Content should make Dollars on its own merit without external help"
This isn't a way to boost the income or reward of a post with inflation. This is to help really new accounts start to gain a following. Increasing exposure and curation. The Project is about more than just getting people upvotes from some bots, it's about community. When you come and talk to the people on Discord, they help you create the content, discuss it, and generally just have a good time.
Come and join us before you think we are just some channel to get upvotes. We would love to see you in there.
I am just an average joe who knows his photography and avoids too many details. I like to keep things simple
I prefer just to post nice compositions and leave the rest to the forces of nature :)
Thank you for the invitation. Good to help newbies :)
You do share great photography, and it will stand on its own merit.
But not everyone who shows up here is capable of creating good content at the beginning, and communities like this one also help people to learn formatting, writing styles, etc. I even had one of my posts checked for grammar, and spelling for example. Minnowsupport doesnt just throw around SP, they also teach people how to post better content.
You are also forgetting that Steemit is a social media site. If you have nobody seeing your content, it doesnt matter how good it is, you simply will not be rewarded.
Think of PAL as a marketplace, or a gallery. Sharing your work in the PAL discord channel opens it up to more viewers the same way that hanging your art in a gallery gets more exposure than hanging it in your living room.
If someone chooses to come and hang out there they aren't gaining an unfair advantage, they are simply putting more tools in their toolbox...
Thanks.
Thats a great answers.
Infact very artsy :)
