@jerrrybanfield this is a very eye opening post. I was enthralled, so I caught up reading part one before coming back here. You brought to my attention the importance of what posts need to do to bring value, and it truly is to help someone else. At your level, and at any, the goal isn't to please everyone as much as it is to help someone.
It's a reality that needed identification and clarity as many people including myself are focused on people pleasing so much that it takes away from our original goals and ideals.
I'm happy I chose to read this one, as it shows me that not everyone will be satisfied with my work, and if there are haters then I in fact must be doing something right. It's empowering. I won't lie, I've been super jelly when I see your posts sometimes, but now it makes sense for what you are bringing, to be where you are.
I'm inspired, and that was the point wasn't it. The best way to help someone, is to guide them into a position where they can help themselves. If helping themselves on Steemit means to help others, then it can only become infectious.
This is actually ridiculous. I don't even know what to say right now. Wait, I do.
Thank you.
