My dog barked in the morning, I heard the doorbell ringing,it was a delivery. "What the hell is this? I haven’t bought anything in the past few weeks!" So, I opened the package, and to my surprise, inside was a small metallic device with a shiny button and a letter with no return address.
"Use wisely"
not knowing what it was, I pressed the button.
Suddenly, a holographic screen appeared, projecting a map of the city with locations marked in red. "Wow," I thought, "this is some super advanced GPS..." Did I somehow enter a promotion and win this?
But then I realized the map was showing my own house. And the nearest red dot was moving... right toward the front door of my house!
I pressed the button again, trying to deactivate the screen ("What the hell is going on? These damn Chinese GPSs!"), but instead, a voice came from a built-in speaker:
"Target tracking initiated."
I froze. Suddenly, what seemed like a simple delivery mistake turned into something much more complicated... and maybe, dangerous?
Not even 10 minutes had passed when I heard the doorbell ring again. I peeked through the crack, and two men in suits were standing at my door. When I opened it, they said, "I think you made a mistake when you pressed that button."
