Welcome to Qurator's Mischievous Mondays!

This will be a weekly competition that we will be hosting every Monday. We want to see a little more engagement and fun when it comes to some of our competitions so this will be a simpler and shorter competition. Easy to enter, but maybe not so easy to win. ;) This competition will be similar to the Monday Missions we had a long time ago, but instead of writing posts to enter we will now consider only the comments and answers on this blog as your entry to win.

Why Mischievous?

We all could use a little fun in our lives. We would even say that we deserve it, let loose a little and have a go at making everyone laugh or think a little, even if it is a little over the top or pure silliness. Go all out and let your creative juices flow.

This week's theme : A quote to live by

Who said that? Some quotes are amazing and some aren't, but there are the select few that you could live your life by. Some so meaningful and true that it could bend the fabric of your existence. Share some of the most meaningful quotes you have ever heard.

It helped me a lot when I became too anxious to make important decisions.

Thank you for this fun engagement, and picking the photo of my son from last week :)

My quote to live by is "Don't take yourself so seriously, no one else does!" That was my dad's jibe at me as a teen, it's actually quite good advice 😂

Hi @qurator

I usually apply this famous phrase of Benjamin Franklin to myself.

Benjamin Franklin quote "Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today."

It is a very profound phrase, which encourages us to persevere and not leave for the future what we can execute or enjoy at the moment.

Hello, and greetings here is my entry.
My favorite Indian philosopher Swami Vivekanand said "The power of concentration is the only key to the treasure house of knowledge".

the most profound quote i know of is from socrates in ancient greece. it is short but far from simple
know thyself
much more recently at his mother's 90th birthday eolianpariah declared:
there are four essential ingredients to a meaningful life- love, freedom truth and beauty

Ninguém educa ninguém, ninguém educa a si mesmo, os homens se educam entre si, mediatizados pelo mundo.

Nobody educates anyone, nobody educates himself, men educate each other, mediated by the world.
