Welcome to Qurator's Mischievous Mondays!

This will be a weekly competition that we will be hosting every Monday. We want to see a little more engagement and fun when it comes to some of our competitions so this will be a simpler and shorter competition. Easy to enter, but maybe not so easy to win. ;) This competition will be similar to the Monday Missions we had a long time ago, but instead of writing posts to enter we will now consider only the comments and answers on this blog as your entry to win.

Why Mischievous?

We all could use a little fun in our lives. We would even say that we deserve it, let loose a little and have a go at making everyone laugh or think a little, even if it is a little over the top or pure silliness. Go all out and let your creative juices flow.

This week's theme : Beyond Sight and Sound

Confront the sudden reality of being both blind and deaf. Explore how you would adapt your lifestyle, communication, and daily activities.

Just thinking about the possibility of suddenly losing both sight and hearing brings on strong anxiety. Imagining a life where the two main ways of interacting with the world just vanish is terrifying. The adaptation would surely be a daily challenge and, in the beginning, likely quite overwhelming.

For someone who can see and hear, it’s very complex to even begin to understand what this new phase would be like. I believe I would have to completely reinvent myself, learn a new language, like tactile braille, and rely much more on touch to communicate and recognize my surroundings.

The simplest tasks, like eating, moving around the house, and even getting dressed, would reach a whole new level of complexity. Everything would need to be reorganized so that I could navigate using only touch, which would demand a huge amount of discipline.

It would be hard to stay calm in the face of such a radical change, and I would definitely depend on the support and patience of others. Therapy and mental health professionals would be essential to help me through this.

It’s a reality that shows just how much we rely on our senses, and how facing something like this would require courage and resilience beyond anything I can imagine.

This week's theme : Beyond Sight and Sound

Imagine if our Sense of Sight and Hearings are lost, This will become not good for us but we can't escape this kind of situations. This is my own point of views about losing Sights and hearings. What will I do If I have this kind of situations specially when I am old? This is a kind of Serious situations happens in our lives and we can't escape it.

First is for my Lifestyle:
Dietetians always keep telling us to eat nutritious foods that can help to our body, this is a kind of basic advices but it brings a good results to our Body. For me, eating vegetable and fruits can help my self stay strong. Eating squash is good for eyesight and doing simple exercises and proper hygienes is also good.

Next is for Communication:
Communication is the best way to express our feelings to others, if the when we can't see or heard there are some still basic ways to do proper communication just like sign language. Pointing with the use of our hands is a kind of sign language that can help everyone to understand what we want to say about. Next is by writing, if We don't know how to perform a sign language, writing on a piece of paper can also help to easily understand to others.

Last is the Daily Activities:
Even we can't see or heard , there are still basics activities we can do in our life just like doing a simple exercises, stretching our arms and legs, waving our arms. We can also walk but in slowly motion by touching and holding some things in order for us to walk from one place to another even if we can't see.

This kind of situations are not an obstacles for us , courage and positivity is very important.
