As a starting point I kind of liked the one under the purple one. In it I liked how the collar looked in particular, (horse shoe type magnet), I thought that added to the "uniform". I am really not sure about the rather "brightness" of the orange heart blob, to bright, it seems to be out of sync with the rest of the uniform. Also not sure about the flower light in her hair, I understand the flower, kind of like an ode to her history a personal adornment, but the light thing I do not get. I am glad I have never had to try to get across what I want in an image for someone to draw, You have some good people you are working with it seems.

Hey, @bashadow.
So, the intent of MISS Ion's appearance was to give her some kind of cosmic entity look, which meant that her being was reflecting an existing section of space somewhere, which in this case included a sun where her heart would be, along with the lightning strike looks where her main arteries out of the heart would be.
Trying not to duplicate a costume or uniform is on an existing superhero is tough, and where I was headed with this.
The flower and the light on that side of her head are meant to be separate. The light isn't really doing much, and so I agree, it could be eliminated. Again, it was meant to represent some part of space reflecting through her body.
It's a definite process as far as communicating desires to artists. The first three characters and the last two are the most recent. They were all created towards the end of 2017, while the middle five I revealed were the first attempts. They were undertaken earlier in the year. I haven't used either artist since. If I did, I'd try to go with Graphics Manufacture simply because they were the fastest in turnaround. I had five characters in a less than two weeks compared to five characters over the course of a few months.
Yes, a very hard thing to convey. It must have been tough for the people trying to draw MISS-Ion, and representing space. I just realized her name with out a dash is mission, no wonder she represents space and everything sort-of. I think you are going to have a hit comic/graphic novel when all is said and done with it.
Hey, @bashadow.
Cool that you caught onto that. There's intentional wordplay going with nearly all of the characters, especially each MISS. Partly out of trying to find code names that haven't been used yet, but also to have a little fun with the English language. My hope is that the comic won't only be entertaining, but that it will pack a message along with being somewhat educational, all without it being preachy or overtly teachy. :)
So, there's layers I'm hoping to accomplish here.
Well, thank you. I'd like to think I have something going here. I just got to get more of it fleshed out and then I need to get some scripts and art going. :)
i saw the word play for some of the others, but completely missed this one.
It is a little more subtle. And I did make a little bit more out of the other names, too. Missable and Misspeak to MISS Able and MISS Peak have negative to positive connotations, while the rest, like Mismatch to MISS Match do, too. Mission to MISS Ion though isn't really a negative to positive kind of thing. So it is a little bit different. :)
