RE: Once, That’s it!

in #mistake6 years ago

As hard as it is for some people to admit to making a mistake, it really is part of maturing. We all know someone that thinks that every word that comes out of their mouth is in fact the truth, and that they are above making a mistake. Some of the best lessons learned are through doing something wrong to begin with.

The use of the term global, now that is the way to get our attention for sure. When it comes to global warming, for me there is to much going down, not to believe something is off-kilter . Whether it is caused by mankind's practices, or not, is the million dollar question. There is one school of thought that it is a natural occurrence and we have nothing to do with it.

In general, cell phones for young kids are inappropriate, and are put into kids hands way to early. So much of what is emulated can be directly tied to fools. Take a look at Keeping Up with the Kardashians, , talk about selfies, and talk about fools. Technology in general needs to be monitored, but all to often, by placing a contraption in a youngster's hands, will keep them entertained for hours, and gets the parent off the hook.
What ever happened to spending real quality time with your children.

Young and dumb is a term that is not meant to be derogatory, just a reality.
To this day I continue to question moves that I make, but with a life time of experience, I like to think that the moves I am making, are for the most part, the right ones.
The military preys on stupidity and economic insecurities. That is a lethal combination.
I love your idea of raising the age limit to 25 years before being able to serve in the Armed Forces.
The military promises you a bright future after serving, but the reality is that most leave the service no better off than when they went in.
War is not a game, although you would think it is, ie. Call of duty, Call of Duty Black Ops , Fortnite, and the list is endless. What better way to indoctrinate impressionable minds then to make a game out of something so serious.
I know it is not a popular concept, but I wonder if serving in the military should be made mandatory for all citizens.
This would make those so willing to go to war, think twice if their sons' or daughters' blood had a chance of being spilled, not just the blood of someone they think is expendable.

Security and the fact that we feel big brother is watching our back for our safety is a joke. The information we need to provide in order to conduct life in the mainstream environment is nothing more than a way for those watching, to know every move we make.
The more personal information I give them under the guise of security the less secure I feel.

Funny closing, @dandays LOL.

That’s more like it. My man Sweed came to the comment plate and smashed a homerun, first things first, this is a no brainer.

That’s really cool of you to stop back by here, I know I intend to do stuff like that sometimes but forget most of them. Ya’all are too cool. I’ve never done any social media other than this, I’m amazed by the encouragement from virtual strangers—I dig it here!

You know how cool it is to have a man two decades wiser than me tell me he agrees with the stuff I’m thinking? That comment made my night.

Pura will say things to me often like that about the kardashians. Those people dropped 75k in a weekend on private jets, with an S. Two jets, one for each couple for someone’s birthday or something. And those are the people in the palm of everyone’s hands.

Thanks for stopping back by @thebigsweed.
