Scientists at MIT and other institutions have detected the first clear signs that the Antarctic ozone layer is healing. They published their findings today in the journal Science.
According to the team of scientists, the hole has shrunk by about half the size of the contiguous United States since 2000, when ozone depletion was at its peak. The team also showed for the first time that this recovery has slowed somewhat at times, due to the effects of volcanic eruptions from year to year. Overall, however, the ozone hole appears to be on a healing path.

Thanks for sharing, hole in the ozone layer isn't something that seems to be discussed very much anymore, along with "acid rain" hopefully cause we have dealt with it Ha and not just ignoring it
Thank God, now the U.S. government can fire more nuclear weapons into it and wonder why it's depleting again! =b
