HOW MMM WILL DEFEAT CORRUPTION
Corruption is allegedly being fought against all over the world — all in vain. Corruption has existed since the earliest times. Salaries of civil servants used to be low which was why they were on the lookout for “additional earnings”. Historic statistics show that 70 % among them took bribes.
Corruption in in the blood of the civil servants
Civil servants were paid an extra amount on top of their salaries to prevent them from taking bribes and to make them incorruptible. It was all in vain. Even though bribery was never an honorable deed and was seen as a shameful thing, everyone just continued to take bribes. There are recorded cases when civil servants demanded their subordinates and regular citizens to pay multiple times for one and the same service — their greed had no limits.
Over time, laws would change, the system of “duties and charges” would evolve, and the world government entirely lost control over the situation. Corruption won the battle. Newbies coming into power would see corruption as a regular thing to happen — they thought of it as a part of their job.
Even anti-corruption measures failed. For instance, in 1644 China introduces sanctions against corrupt civil servants. The bigger the bribe, the more severe would be the punishment. The civil servants would be beaten with a bamboo stick for small bribes and executed for big ones. Even those measures had no effect.
A civil servant name Heshen got really lucky when Emperor Qianlong was in power. When he discredited himself in the eyes of the Emperor, an investigation was launched that revealed silver worth 800 mln liang in his house. It was an amount the then state would make in 10 years.
Mutual aid as weapon against corruption
Why then are people surprised to see corruption in 2017? Corruption is rooted so deeply in the world that no measures taken by the government could defeat it. Civil servants do not serve interests of the people — they are no servants of the nation. They only pursue their own interests accumulating wealth at the expense of the simple workers. Bureaucrats change one another, those who have the money and are used to corruption come to power. The government cannot remedy this situation — but regular people can.
By uniting as the MMM Community, we will change the situation by creating a new, fair financial system. By helping others the regular honest people will significantly improve their own financial situation. As a result, they will live a better life and will not remain pawns for corrupt bureaucrats. Thanks to MMM, kind and honest people will be able to come to power. In MMM, all are equal, no one controls anyone, each one of us enjoys complete freedom, financial freedom included.
