I have stopped blogging for many, many years. Part of the excuse I always used is ‘I have no time.’
As a mommy and entrepreneur, I indeed have not much time to pen down my thoughts, experiences and any other random things. However, I have come to realise that I am just giving myself excuses to be lazy, to run away from the responsibility of updating blogs, thinking of contents and promoting it.
All I want to do is to laze on the bed after a long day of work with my phone with my brain on snooze mode after a long day of meeting people, closing sales, slaving away and drowning myself in paperwork, so on, so forth.
Now I have started blogging again.
I have to tell myself that it is time to break up with procrastination once and for all; it is time to stop giving myself excuses just because. It is time to start afresh. For the past two years, I have been actively playing the role of an entrepreneur, or rather, a mompreneur. Trying to keep my family afloat in this very uncertain (personal) economy.
In December 2017, something changed and I have made some decisions to make a change in my and my family’s circumstances. This decision will mark a whole new journey in my life as an entrepreneur, a mommy and as a person.
Now that I have taken that leap of faith, I need to really stop giving myself excuses. This is my resolution.
