Around 6 months ago I was watching some videos on YouTube and saw video about Gpu Mining Monero. I suddenly got an idea. What I did was
1)created 6 Microsoft azure account with free trail
2)Launched 12 4core virtual machines(azure A4v2)
3)Installed MINERGATE(mining pool with there own mining software)
on all Machines and started the Monero mining
thats all..
each PC was giving an average 60KH/s and combined I got an average 700KH/s.
I left the pc like that....did not bother to look at them for 14 till the free trail got over and the services were stopped. Till then I have mined 2 monero which was 12$ at that time,without and effort, cost and any headache.
How ever I lost it while Transferring it from mymonero wallet...I think they have stolen it.
Now its 44$+ and I regret it very much as I could have been more cautious.
However few days ago I tried to do the same but I think azure has tracked me and block all me Cards. :-p

Sounds interesting, but I kept hearing that minergate was getting hacked too much so that discouraged me. :(
I usually trust things recommended from deepdotweb and they had suggested using minergate, so I have been for some small amounts of BCN mostly. I have a little going for the monero but with my equipment I am just going to bail out when I get .1 XMR, probably tomorrow.
Has anyone else had bad experiences with minergate?
I generally did not face any problem with minergate. However I think MYMONERO wallet is stealing Monero. I strictly dont recommended MYMONERO wallet
