Agreed, that trolling made me wary of XMR. Not a professional way to behave as a developer for a major coin, knowing that you're scaring off investors and losing money for your supporters. Having said that, maybe XMR will only go up from here.
That is interesting. One thing i dont like is when devs play games... thats been a bad sign in past projects i get involved in, and im starting to get quite invested in xmr.
I have to check this out some more
im not entirely informed on XMR, i read its one of the, if not, the most anonymous crypto, and it seems to have some good development going for it. However, im not a programmer or coder, and it seems like thats the type of audince monero wants to attract. Not a good thing IMO, especially when the majority of the world will not be code savy enough to want to engage in this coin as long term, much less use it as currency, which is ultimately what all these coins are about. Reason why im somewhat weary of XMR and unless it becomes cheaper(price-wise), im sitting on the sides with this one. Maybe trade it for quick profits.
You make some good points.
Although it targets crypto savvy people, so do most of the other coins including Eth.
They all take alittle getting used to, and frankly is why most of mainstream population doesnt get involved.
I also believe we are still in the early stages of crypto, one of the next stages should be usability for the masses.
I would expect all cryptos to transition this way
Thanks for the comments.
