I believe cryptocurrency is the future of money. But I believe the fear is can it Co -exist with physical/ traditional money. There's a believe that cryptocurrency threathens banking system which has led to governments in different countries to kick against it. But I believe it will revolutionalise the banking industry making it more effective and stable. Also it will create a universal currency which will reduce barriers in international borderless transactions. Right now the modern banking system is falling because there hasn't been major changes since the 80s. This has led to two global recessions. And while they are gains in reducing poverty, there are some countries lacking behind. We need a change in the system, and quite obviously digital technology is changing the world. So can virtual currencies. But change is either by evolutionary(like USA) or revolutionary(like China). Depends on how we want it. One thing for sure Cryptocurrencies are here to stay.
