INTRO
A lot of you have probably asked yourself the question: How can I make money online? While Steem is a great platform to build on, I am greatful to be successful in Internet Marketing and would gladly share my wisdom/methods/tips with you. Do not be fooled, this is NOT a get rich quick scheme. Like always you will need to stick around till the end of the series and actually apply what you learn, I will be here for you along the way.
This post is only the begiining of more than 20 chapters which would reveal in detail how you can EARN in 2017 using the different methods I explain(see below).
How is money actually made?
We can simplify the process in 5 easy steps:
- Find a suitable product/offer we believe in.
- Create and set up a landing page for our target group.
We supplement that by: - Inviting visitors to submit their email for our newsletter.
- Include an email autoresponder
- Configure a detailed campaign on how to get traffic onto your lending page.
set up a traffic campaign to get visitors to your website who want to buy that product.
Whitehat or Blackhat
Blackhat is a slang for using forbidden according to the Terms of Service of Google/immoral practises in order to achieve fast results until banhammer comes/it all crashes down.
Whitehat is a slang for doing the things the old fasioned way. Slow, steady, legal and most importantly - long term. In this course you will be taught how to approach Internet Marketing the whitehat way. After all, the beauty of making money in internet marketing comes from achieving a passive steady income from multiple sources with very little maintenance work!
I am glad to introduce you the first course on SteemIt on: How to be successful with Amazon Affilate.
The first method we would study in detail is how to make money being a partner to the largest online retailer - Amazon. Here are the pros and cons on working with Amazon and why I think this is the best platform to start your whitehat journey on
Pros
- Exceptionally high conversion, people trust Amazon and convert great. A lot of platforms which offer higher comissions look shady and convert very poorly.
- When somebody clicks through your link it attaches a cookie which holds for 24hours. It means that even if the referal does not buy your product but buys a watch on Amazon the next day you will get comission for that watch. As people use Amazon regularly as a trusted merchant around 15% of my comissions were from third party items I did not even advertise. How cool is that?
- Trustworthy, you will get paid your money, no hassle.
Cons
- Low comissions averaging at about 5% per item, however the high conversion makes up for it. When you get really good with the whole process on the end of my Amazon Afiliate course I will introduce you to other networks
- Very strict on rules, If you do not read them and mess up you are DONE. For example my first account got shut down cause I included a review somebody made on the product on my site while the user made it on the amazon platform. Lost a bunch.. So take notice!

Hey, interesting article! Upvoted. I didn't know about "Whitehat or Blackhat", that was a cool thing to learn. I was in the affiliate biz more than 10 yrs ago for awhile before I move to other fields. I think a lot of things have change ever since with SEO and AM. Do you have a marketing degree?

I speak from experience, for now I will discontinue the course as I found out i get so little reach it is not worth my time, I will gain followers first and then stick around, I will continue with more than 20 chapters.
